The International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA World), a federation of over 1,600 organizations in over 150 countries, campaigns for freedom and equality for all regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and sex characteristics. Through advocacy, empowerment and research, ILGA is a global voice of LGBTI networks. ILGA World’s work includes its annual State-Sponsored Homophobia report chronicling sexual orientation laws around the world, and ILGA’s World Conference, the largest gathering of its kind in the world.
