Childhood Data was released in November 2014 for the 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. This dataset contains information on laws and policies critical to children’s health and development. Areas addressed include: child labor, child marriage, education, income, discrimination, work-family, equality, health, and disability. Beyond providing a global overview of children’s rights and protections, data on these policies offer insight into whether individual countries that have ratified the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child are fulfilling their commitments.
The WORLD Policy Analysis Center (WORLD) is pleased to provide access to and use of data that it collects and publishes. On this page, you can download WORLD's Childhood Public Use Data.
