The WORLD Policy Analysis Center is pleased to provide access to and use of data that it collects and publishes. On this page, you can download the Workplace Discrimination Data, which represents the world’s most comprehensive assessment of national legislative guarantees to non-discrimination at work. Released alongside publication of findings in the journal Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, this dataset contains over 100 indicators that measure prohibitions of workplace discrimination for 17 protected characteristics: race/ethnicity, migrant status, sex, religion, family status, sexual orientation and gender identity, disability, and more. Areas addressed include: prohibitions of discrimination in hiring, pay, training, promotions and/or demotions, terminations, as well as prohibitions of discriminatory harassment and indirect discrimination.
