The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) is a federal agency of the United States that disburses bilateral foreign aid to low- and lower-middle income countries. Recipient country selection is determined after MCC evaluates the in-country legal and policy environment on areas such as child health, gender discrimination, civil liberties, and others.
The MCC uses a number of WORLD indicators in their country scorecards, including select variables on education, constitutions, child marriage, and discrimination at work. For ease of access to MCC stakeholders, we have created a dataset that includes the most up-to-date versions of those WORLD indicators selected by the Millennium Challenge Corporation for inclusion in its most recent scorecards.
