Well-designed laws, policies and constitutional rights have the power to positively impact lives. With rigorous analyses, we can measure impact and build the evidence base on which policies work to advance health and well-being, and shift norms in favor of equal rights. WORLD and its partners have worked together to study the effects of laws, policies, and constitutional rights for more than a decade, generating powerful new insights about the impacts of policies in low- and high-income countries alike.
In the submenu items to the left, we highlight some of our key impact studies, organized according to the policies examined, the outcomes we evaluated, and research studies using quasi-experimental, multi-level and longitudinal approaches to assess policy impact. Further full-length studies and two-page research briefs are available on our resources page.
