The United States remains one of the only countries in the world without a national paid sick leave policy. A growing coalition of civil society organizations have been working to advance paid sick leave in the United States. Our collaborations with these groups have been multifaceted, and has included contributing to the evidence base on high impact and economically strong approaches to the push for improved policies. We have co-hosted conferences and webinars bringing together activists, policymakers, and researchers, collaborated on civil society and media outreach and jointly authored op-eds and other pieces for knowledge mobilization.
