WORLD regularly submits alternative reports to the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). In these reports, we detail the legal and/or constitutional landscape in the country vis à vis the commitments it has made under the Convention, propose questions for the Committee to ask the countries during the review process, and suggest concluding observations that the Committee include in its post-review report to each country.
In these reports, we focus on topics fundamendal to the human rights of children. Topics in our reports have included equality and non-discrimination in constitutions, free and compulsory education, child marriage, immigration detention of minors, and non-discrimination in education for students with disabilities.
We invite you to browse our past submissions below, or via the UN Human Rights Treaty Bodies website.
