Social Watch is a global civil society research and monitoring network with hundreds of member organizations working to eradicate poverty and the causes of poverty, to end all forms of discrimination and racism, and to ensure gender justice and the realization of human rights within planetary boundaries.
Among many collaborations, WORLD partnered with Social Watch to conduct interactive webcasted workshops in English, Spanish, and French to address policy issues related to women’s empowerment, poverty alleviation, and equal opportunities. These webinars reached participants in 39 countries and demonstrated how data can be used as a tool for advocates of social justice to measure and track a country’s performance and promote accountability and policy change.
